We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Technology Specialist - Data to join our team. In this role, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of robust data solutions that align with our clients' strategic goals. You will collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative data architectures, while also playing a key role in client-facing engagements and pre-sales activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead client engagements by translating business and technical requirements into comprehensive data solutions and architectures.
• Design and implement scalable batch and real-time data pipelines, integrating structured and unstructured data sources.
• Deliver technical pitches, demos, and presentations to clients, clearly communicating complex data strategies.
• Oversee the full data engineering lifecycle—from ingestion and storage to processing and analytics.
• Develop and maintain efficient ETL frameworks and data transformation workflows.
• Ensure data governance and compliance with data protection regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
• Optimize storage solutions using relational databases, NoSQL systems, data lakes, and data warehouses.
• Build and deploy data processing solutions on cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Collaborate with analytics, product, and operations teams to ensure alignment with business goals.
• Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in data engineering to enhance solution effectiveness.
• Support pre-sales initiatives through proposals, solution architecture, and feasibility assessments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience designing and implementing data pipelines for large-scale systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Expertise in data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Flink, or Beam.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) and tools like S3, BigQuery, Redshift, or Snowflake.
• Proficiency in SQL and working knowledge of relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (Cassandra, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with data lake technologies (Apache Hudi, Delta Lake, Iceberg).
• Experience with ETL tools such as Airflow, Luigi, or DBT.
• Understanding of data governance, security, and privacy regulations.
• Knowledge of version control, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ability to align technical solutions with business objectives and articulate value to clients.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with real-time data processing and messaging systems (Kafka, Kinesis, RabbitMQ).
• Experience in workflow orchestration and data pipeline automation.
• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Familiarity with modern data architectures such as data mesh or data fabric.
• Experience in distributed systems and microservices-based architectures.
• Proven ability to implement data quality frameworks and monitoring solutions.
