We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Technical Project Manager

Principal responsibilities

• Overall management of product lifecycle, working with the product owner to align scheduling of activities to broader program/epic/release requirements
• Champion continuous improvement activities to reduce waste and increase productivity; coach organization to conduct continuous improvement events
• Coach product owners in creation and maintenance of the product backlog, including empirical planning
• Bring ideas from professional facilitation, coaching, conflict management, mediation and so on to help the team become a high-performance team
• Facilitating the team to self-organize; enabling continuous improvement of change and run the bank activities, aligned to the product roadmap and customer expectations
• Responsible for the coaching and leadership responsibilities that enable Agile delivery, including facilitating team meetings such as retrospectives, reviews and planning events
• Shield the team from interruptions during sprints to ensure that Agile process doesn't impede team progress
• Supporting project management aspects of HSBC Hybrid Agile projects
• Manage complex, cross technology application projects
• Work in an agile environment that requires reacting to changes quickly
• Must be able to work independently and have intellectual curiosity
• Work as business analyst to capture requirements and work with technical team and come-up with technical documentation
• Coordinate and report on project progress and accomplishments

• Bachelor's Degree required, technical degree preferred with 6+ years of IT experience.
• 4+ years of Project Management/Scrum Master experience
• Ability to juggle multiple disparate system projects
• Prior experience in software development as an analyst, tester or developer
• Basic knowledge of SQL and Unix commands
• Experience in business intelligence, designing / developing applications
• Working experience with DevOps & Scaled Agile
• Hand on experience in upgrading distributed hardware /software
• Ability to communicate complex concepts in speaking / writing, with team members
• Strong work ethic to help team meet commitments
• Enthusiastic, high-energy individual, self-motivated, people-oriented and self-directed
