Sr. Product Engineer

Job Functions

1. Production support
2. New product design, and development
3. Testing, prototyping, and evaluation of new and existing products
4. Manage Product Lifecycle Management process for new and existing products
5. Support the planning of detailed product development objectives
6. Research new materials and methods of development
7. Engineering Changes
8. Plan, schedule, coordinate and problem solve effectively
9. Ensure components and assemblies adhere to applicable industry and business standards
10. Support to manufacturing department, metal stamping and assembly process
11. Assist in standardization materials, components, and assemblies
12. Provide Customer Service Support
13. MRP system SAP
14. Identify and perform cost savings and product improvement initiatives
15. Internal UL audits
16. Research and investigation

Requirements (Qualifications, Experience, Skills)

• Bachelor's degree in related discipline
• Very good knowledge on engineering changes, specifications, and documentation
• Discipline and proactive
• 2 -5 years of successful experience in related field and projects administration
• Multi projects administration
• Team center and CREO knowledge is a plus
• UL audit experience is a plus
• Experience modeling, detailing and creating BOM
• Bilingual English/Spanish proficient
• SAP knowledge is a plus
• Experience with sheet metal is a plus
