About this opportunity
We are now looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager. In this role, you will drive short and long-term profitable business for Ericsson through proactive supplier and partner business development, based on Customer, Stakeholder, and business needs. Accountable for qualifying and negotiating supplier / partner agreements for all external services. Accountable for managing supplier / partner relationships, actively driving business contribution, performance and managing risks as responsible for the commercial agreements.

We are now looking for a Strategic Sourcing Manager. In this role, you will drive short and long-term profitable business for Ericsson through proactive supplier and partner business development, based on Customer, Stakeholder, and business needs. Accountable for qualifying and negotiating supplier / partner agreements for all external services. Accountable for managing supplier / partner relationships, actively driving business contribution, performance and managing risks as responsible for the commercial agreements.
What you will do
- Create, plan and execute RFQs with suppliers following stakeholders requests.
- Negotiate commercial terms (price, delivery date, payment terms) obtain better pricing conditions/discounts.
- Conduct opportunity analysis for low risk and/or low value spend management and scout for better suppliers.
- Liaise with the internal customers to understand their requirements and close them in the given time frame.
- Perform & interpret spend analytics in order to identify best available market price for the ongoing project.
- Carry out all reporting requirements (process/project status, progress, efficiency, savings etc.) accurately and within the specified time deadlines.
- Tail Spend Management activities like vendor/supplier consolidation, localized spot-buys, catalogues.
- Ensure compliance to Sourcing Process for all spot-buys requests.
You will bring
- Negotiation and Communication skills (background: procurement buyer).
- Judgement and decision making.
- Persuasion and influencing skills.
- Critical thinking.
- Strong written and oral communication skills are needed.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in teams as well as independently, within tight deadlines.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- 7+ years' experience in network roll out as Implementation Manager, Site Manager or Planner is desirable.
- Organization, planning and tracking skills.
- Interact with the 3rd parties (e-mails, phone calls) independently.
- Handle a request end-to-end (from receiving the request to closure of the negotiation).
- Knowledge of negotiation tactics and sourcing specific tools.
- Integrity.
- Intermediate to Advance English.
