SCOPE
The ADM is responsible for creating and implementing marketing strategies to drive revenue, increasing guest and client loyalty, brand preference in collaboration with Cluster Director of Communications and Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing as well as brand stakeholders. This is specific for total revenue of the resort including rooms, food and beverage, spa, retail and other areas that impact the financial performance of the resort. The role directs the social media strategy leading the Community Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote revenue growth in collaboration with the Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing
• Proactively manage the e-commerce digital agency and execute strategies including paid search, paid social, SEO and display re-marketing
• Collaborate on monthly calls to review results and set strategies for future months
• Leads key marketing messages and promotions across both print and digital platforms, including website (brand and third- party), email, paid search, SEO, display, mobile and social.
• Direct the Community Manager to optimize all social media channels while increasing engagement, followers, and brand loyalty which include (not limited to) Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn
• Be responsible to aligning Brand standards with property guest experience.
• Direct resort's website content to ensure all information, promotions and photography are accurate at all times with leadership of the Marketing and Communications Coordinator
• Support the Marketing and Communications coordinator to ensure all ecommerce sites are optimized for best user experience, such as but not limited to Seven rooms, Alliants, resort app, Trip Advisor, Expedia, Elite.
• Create email marketing campaigns for the hotel and relevant outlets, including messaging, targeting and measurement
• Work closely with Cluster Director of Sales & Marketing and Cluster Director of Communications to support the execution of sales & marketing strategy, and to align strategies with the communication, public relations, social media & digital marketing direction.
• Find new marketing, outreach and partnership opportunities to increase brand image and exposure of products
• Assist in the development and approval of creative photos and video to use for various electronic communication channels while maintaining brand standards and approbed visual identity standards
• Collaborate with stakeholders from the brand and regional teams.
• Work with Revenue Management to ensure maximum potential of key marketing strategies including, but not limited to, third party websites
• Develop promotional material for sales & marketing team
• Develop and maintain knowledge of market trends, competition and customers
• Contribute to the annual marketing plans and budget process, and maintain expenses within the budgeted guidelines
• Display leadership on site for the overall Commercial Team
• Maintain a respectful working relationship with on-property colleagues and facilitate flow of communication
• Maintain knowledge of all Rosewood Hotels & Resorts to facilitate cross marketing.
• Prepare and submit timely monthly reports for marketing activities and data related to actions
• Participate in scheduled sales and/or marketing meetings, training and other strategy related meetings as required
• All other duties as required
Skills and Abilities:
• Four years of digital/e-commerce experience; previous experience with a luxury/hospitality brand preferred.
• Strong copy-writing skills as it relates to brochure text, direct email campaigns, sales promotional material and resort promotions/advertising
• Knowledge of content management and email marketing platforms; previous experience using Adobe AEM platform, or similar, and Photoshop/InDesign preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in business/marketing/communications or related discipline.
• Must be fluent in English and Spanish language-verbally and written to be able to effectively proof read all marketing materials
• Excellent writing, communication & presentation skills with the ability to interpret and adhere to brand standards.
• An eye for design and creativity to communicate the hotel across digital platforms.
• Ability to work cross-functionally across multiple teams on property including operations, catering, and sales.
• Ability to manage strategy and analyze data with key recommendations from digital agency, as well as other agency partners.
• Knowledge of the digital marketing landscape, including website, email, paid search, SEO, display, mobile and social
• Preferred proficiency with analytics and design platforms such as Google Analytics and Adobe Photoshop
• Ability to establish, monitor and achieve goals
• Ability to act independently with minimal or no supervision
• Must possess computer skills, including, but not limited to, accounting programs, Microsoft Word, Excel, Opera, and Salesforce
• Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
• Prioritize, organize and follow-up on all actions
• Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment
• Follow directions thoroughly and can work with minimal supervision
• Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
