JOB SUMMARY:

The Maintenance Manager will strategically be planning of maintenance activities, timely response to any plant maintenance issues. Support in coordination and monitoring of the organization's project.

The position is based in Altamira, Tamaulipas.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for directing and organizing the maintenance of the Plant's equipment and systems, complying with applicable laws and established procedures and prioritizing the safety of people and equipment, in order to achieve maximum performance and availability of the Plant and to provide a high standard of quality, planning strategic maintenance activities such as maintenance plans, responding to any maintenance problem in a timely manner and in real time and, ultimately, managing maintenance tasks to that these are carried out in appropriate safety, environmental and quality environments according to existing standards, also assuming the tasks designated in the PEI (member of the advisory committee or Substitute Emergency Manager) in the event of an emergency being declared.

Among his most important tasks are:

• Direct communication with the Plant Manager both in daily meetings and through reports.
• Review and/or approval of Maintenance Procedures and Instructions.
• Participate in the process of hiring personnel under his charge.
• Establish and ensure compliance with the Work Permit System (BFS) in the Maintenance organization.
• Member of the CAI in the investigation/monitoring of Incidents/accidents and habitual investigator of occupational accidents
• Attend Security and MA rounds carried out by the Plant.
• Act in case of emergency as a member of the Advisory Committee, or assume substitutions for other emergency team appointments, as defined in the PEI.
• Organize and coordinate the technical and security training necessary to improve the professional skills of your team.
• Establish and implement regular maintenance activities through work plans in BFS and ensure their execution on time.
• Ensure the availability of spare parts and consumables.
• Communicate the importance of the Management System requirements.
• Promote improvement.
• Support in the maintenance of the quality, safety and MA system based on the corresponding ISO standards.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills required for a highly matrix organization.
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity; good relationship building skills.
• A motivated self-starter who can work with little direct supervision and is able of working in a dynamic and fast paced environment in consideration of time sensitive deadlines.
• Result-oriented person who can maintain a positive attitude and thrive in a team environment.
• Highest level of ethics and personal responsibility.
• Genuine commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
• Flexible, creative, and solution-oriented approach to issues.
• At least 5 years of experience in the Energy Sector and O&M of power plants.
• At least 5 years performing a similar job.
• University Degree in Engineering.
• Proficiency in English.

This position reports hierarchically to the Plant Manager.
