DuPont is looking for a Senior Accounting Analyst that supports the senior finance manager in partnering with the sites and appropriate functional management, promoting, and protecting value for DuPont through tasks and analysis relating to, capex preparation and control, ad hoc analysis, and monthly reporting. The Senior Accounting Analyst has specific responsibility for Mexican financial statements, accuracy/management reporting and accurate/meaningful cost information for operational partners.

DuPont is looking for a Senior Accounting Analyst that supports the senior finance manager in partnering with the sites and appropriate functional management, promoting, and protecting value for DuPont through tasks and analysis relating to, capex preparation and control, ad hoc analysis, and monthly reporting. The Senior Accounting Analyst has specific responsibility for Mexican financial statements, accuracy/management reporting and accurate/meaningful cost information for operational partners.
Position responsibilities
- Preparation of all statutory requirements including the tax filings, with assistance from external advisors as agreed with Tax Department
- Preparation of consolidated income tax charge, deferred tax analysis, proof of tax and roll-forward schedule at year end
- Identify any provisions/risks that should be provided
- Prepares various journal entries to correctly reflect transactions in the general ledger
- Assist in coordinating intercompany balances.
- Ensure accuracy of financial statements in accordance with Mexican and US GAAP and in compliance with internal policies
- Completes standard analyses and variance reports as requested.
- Assist with the consolidation of inter-company transactions and reconciliations which may include foreign currency accounting
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts in Blackline.
- Preparation of tax returns, VAT, DIOT, DIEMSE.
- Communicate with vendors and internal personnel supporting AP processing and payroll as required.
- Coordinate the communication and actions for internal and external audits.
- Maquiladora invoice
- Electronic accounting for SAT
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in accounting and analysis in a manufacturing environment.
- A good understanding of the objectives and purpose of each site department, and their requirements in respect of operating performance, cost/CAPEX information.
- Strong general accounting and analytical skills
- Advanced software skills, especially for Excel, database management and query software.
- Ability to present, communicate and explain financial information to operational staff and management verbally and in writing .
- Advanced english skills
