Responsibilities
Which is the main objective of this role?
As the Production Manager, of our Obregon Facilities your main purpose is to lead and manage all the processes of operation in the plant, through the effective management of human capital and physical assets, with the quality and cost that the consumer demands.
Your impact
Your scope would consist of:
- Promote a culture of Safety and Responsibility to avoid risks to the integrity of each individual, equipment and Plant facilities.
- Develops the strategy for the implementation of preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance of the plant's equipment and facilities, to ensure operational continuity.
- Promote Operational Autonomy through the different initiatives of the company such as TPM, EAD, KAIZEN, etc. to ensure increased productivity.
- Meet the objectives of Quality, Cost and Service.
- Negotiate with the Sales Service and Planning areas the preparation and delivery of the product to guarantee the level of service.
- Promote the Development of its collaborators through PepsiCo's Leadership and Personal Effectiveness Competence Model in the short, medium and long term.
- Foster a culture of social responsibility by promoting sustainable and environmental programs.
- Lead productivity initiatives such as Starfleet, Six Sigma, etc. to generate savings according to the plan.
- Comply with and enforce the Quality, Food Safety, Industrial Safety and Environment policies; participate, promote and live the culture of the organizational transformation model.
- Food safety management system:
- Know the possible risks/environmental impacts and the necessary controls/guards in their work areas.
- Demonstrate safe behaviors and work procedures
- Collaborate with the preventive maintenance system.
Qualifications
Who are we looking for?
- Professional degree in chemical, industrial, biochemical engineering or related.
- Advanced English language proficiency
- 7+ years experience managing manufacturing plant operations.
- 5+ years leading and mentoring work teams.
- Knowledge of productivity tools Six Sigma, TPM, Kaizen & lean Manufacturing
- Experience working in digital transformation projects
- Knowledge in ERP (SAP)
- Experience in managing indicators

Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree
- Food industry experience or consumer goods - FMCG
- Experience in 4.0 technologies.
