Descripción
We Are Looking for a Technical Director
Our client is currently seeking a Technical Director with the following non-negotiable requirements:
Bilingual (English-Spanish)
15 to 20 years of experience as a Director in the automotive or aerospace industry
Proven experience leading engineering, innovation, and new design projects
Must have managed at least 40 direct reports
Must be based in Querétaro or have willingness to relocate
Experience and training required; A graduate of an engineering school or holder of a technical Master's degree, you have 20 years' experience in the management of
complex projects.
You must be fluent in English and ideally be familiar with the service industry.
ENSURE THE DELIVERY OF PROJECTS
• Be responsible for achieving the financial objectives of the projects within its scope and thus validate the
choices that have a technical and financial impact on the projects.
• Ensure overall technical responsibility for all deliverables
• Identify and implement productivity levers on projects.
• Be responsible for the relationship with the sales teams, customer relations and customer satisfaction in all
aspects of the projects.
• Supporting sales managers in their business development activities (from pre-sales to delivery, including
internal reviews of tenders and approval of offers).
MANAGING YOUR DEPARTMENT
• Anticipate recruitment needs and actively participate in the recruitment of its employees
• Manage all the Project Managers and Project Directors within the scope of the project and to put them in a
position to succeed.
• Define the organisation of its department/area to meet the strategic challenges defined by the Management.
• Be the guarantor of the training and development of the technical skills of the project teams under its
responsibility.
• Present regular internal reports (technical and financial) to the Director to whom he/she reports
• Be a driving force for the continuous improvement of the organisation and processes of the Technical
Department and to participate in the support of change.
• To be the Technical Department's reference for all aspects of its scope (commercial, technical, legal,
financial, etc.).
