The Senior Business Analyst, Organization Design & Development, will provide critical data-led, actionable insights to the OD&D team as they work with business units and functions to design and deliver effective organizations that help develop HPE's capabilities to deliver its strategic goals and objectives. They will play a key role in measuring, monitoring and sustaining the effectiveness of OD&D team interventions and wider-HR function, providing innovative infographics, dashboards and analysis. They will report directly into the VP of Organization Design & Development and will work closely in partnership with members of the Strategic Initiatives & Organizational Development team, the HR team, and key business units/functions.
This role will collectively bring expertise as well as a pragmatic set of analysis, insight and solutions that help the organization moving forward, working closely with other key stakeholder groups e.g., HR Business Partners, the Transformation Office, the Data Office, Finance, etc.

How you'll make your mark:
- Comprehends the business value of OD&D and translates this into data driven analysis which provides actionable insights which lead to measureable outcomes
- Contribute to the development and growth of HR and OD&D BI dashboards, supporting the delivery of actionable insights to the business;
- Leads complex data and business analyses to develop outcome focused metrics, and identifies recommendations and insights;
- Establishes the metrics required to measure OD&D initiatives including high performing teams and Organizational Effectiveness, and develops the process for identifying and addressing performance gaps;
- Manages complex, time-sensitive external benchmarking / market research projects and prepares synthesized intelligence reports with clear implications;
- Actively participate in OD&D business requirement discussions and propose best approach/design based on the need;
- Develop, prototype and test data models with HR, OD&D team while understanding the use cases for information & operational data;
- Design and develop PowerBI dashboards to support the business, OD&D with data & insights or grounds up which includes data ingestion, processing, transformation and reporting;
- Design, test interfaces, and maintain/enhance BI dashboards;
- Define and develop SQL database with SSIS, SSRS to support BI projects;
- Work with team members from other business functional and technology areas to develop effective BI & Analytics solutions;
- Prepare documentation including Requirements and Design documents, Configuration Workbooks, Test Cases other documentation as required through the project lifecycle;
- Strong communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills to translate ambiguous business requirements into complex analyses and actionable insights;
- Train/guide other team members on BI tools and technologies.
About you:
- Typically 10+ years total experience in strategy, planning, operations, finance, or related functional area. Advanced university degree required (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent experience
- Extensive knowledge of research methodology for the most challenging business issues.
- Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills.
- Ability to leverage new analytical techniques to develop creative approaches and insights.
- Extensive knowledge of how to analyze business problems using Excel, Access, statistical analysis, and financial modeling.
- Superior business acumen and technical knowledge within area of responsibility.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and influence skills.
- Excellent project management skills, including leading large, cross-functional initiatives that impact the organization.
- Strong relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting.
- Strong leadership skills, including team-building, conflict resolution, and management.
- Ability to lead multiple, large, time sensitive projects or work streams.
- Ability to identify emerging trends from market and industry data, and make clear and compelling business planning recommendations.
