What you will do: Administers and directs the manufacturing engineering initiatives in the plant in an efficient manner, in compliance with corporate policy, procedure and specifications, to produce a quality product at a reasonable cost. Provides technical expertise for Air Cooled Chillers processes and assembly equipment.
Responsible to assure a word class performance of all the equipment & safety devices used in JCI
Implement JCMS practices, create a CAR projects: new technology, cost reduction, replicate BBP's between facility plants, implement the best manufacturing practices, establish a route time for new products.
How you will do it: - Establish Annual CAPEX focused on the plant needs.
- Create rod map technology to improve the manufacturing process.
- Implement a Total Productive Maintenance Program
- Implement an Autonomous Maintenance Program
- Schedule & Review Predictive Maintenance Program
- Training of Shop floor workers around TPM and Autonomous maintenance Methodologies
- Schedule Preventive Maintenance Program using the Maximo Software
- Responsible for the annual Maintenance budget.
- Schedule SMED and Machine Improvement Workshops for Critical Equipment
- Responsible to eliminate down time for critical machines & equipment
- Best business practices between different plants across JCI
- Poka-yoke, templates, tooling, equipment, sequence are defined by the manufacturing Eng.
- Assure that there is a development of Engineering policies and procedures per PDP standards
- Identify and develop actions and project focused on the quality, safety issues.
- Manufacture 4.0 will develop.
What we look for:- Engineering Bachelor's degree, and master's degree in administration or equivalent.
- A minimum of 12 years of experience in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Product Development; including five or more years in management positions.
- Proven experience in multinational companies.
- High-level of proficiency in speaking to large audiences, able to lead and direct diverse teams, able to travel up to 30% of the time.
- Current valid USA Visa required
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Green Belt Certified, Black Belt Certified desired.
- Trained and experienced in Industry 4.0
- Experience working with tools such as SPC, AMEF, APQP, Six Sigma, ISO 9000, Quality standards, Lean Manufacturing
- Strong personal computer working capabilities in MS Office Suite, etc.
