About the team/role

Being part of the Passenger Operations Team offers you a unique opportunity to enhance the passenger experience across all SSL (Spanish-speaking Latin America) countries. You will leverage product features and our internal communication channels (SMS, email, push notifications, among others) to achieve this goal. In particular, for this role, you will design and implement strategies to increase multi-category usage, ensuring that passengers can fully engage with DiDi's offerings based on their needs.
In this role, you'll be...
responsible for building deep insights and understanding of our passengers' experiences and identifying opportunities, taking into account various factors such as pricing, economic conditions, and product features. You will be data-driven at all times.
be a data master, proficient in Excel for data processing and analysis, and capable of writing SQL and Python scripts.
balancing attention to detail with swift execution—ensuring that we do things quickly while maintaining high quality. Striking this balance can be challenging, but it will be one of your key strengths.
analyzing market trends, customer behavior, and competitive landscapes in Spanish-speaking Latin American countries to identify opportunities for growth and optimization across various categories.
creating and executing comprehensive strategies to drive category adoption and cross-category usage within DiDi's mobility services.
working closely with various departments, including Marketing, Operations, Customer Service, Business Intelligence, and Product.

Educational Background: A degree in data science, engineering, economics, or another analytically focused field is preferred. All backgrounds are welcome if you believe you would thrive in a highly analytical environment.
Proven self-motivation and the ability to take ownership of tasks.
At least 4 years of experience in data analytics, business consulting, investment banking, or operations management.
Advanced knowledge of Excel and intermediate knowledge of SQL.
Proficiency in English and Spanish.
Detail-oriented with a hands-on approach and a strong teamwork mindset. Self-motivated with a strong affinity for problem-solving, driving action, and taking ownership of projects.
Experience in data-based decision-making, exercising good judgment in ambiguous circumstances, and effectively communicating across a diverse team. Previous professional experience in analytical or operational roles is preferred.
A curiosity and willingness to learn.
Preferred Qualifications:
Demonstrated experience using programming languages or tools for data extraction and analysis, such as Python, Alteryx, Power BI, Tableau, etc.
Experience in the high-tech or Internet industry is a plus.
