The Site Manager will be responsible for the readiness of the vault and console area for Oncology (Linac and Unity) and Gamma Knife suites for Neuroscience products. Other responsibilities include the development, coordination, and completion of assigned implementations/projects. As members of the Project Planning department, they also share responsibility for the education and support of oncology and/or neuroscience professionals in the effective use of Elekta's devices and software. The Site Manager is the primary point of contact for the client when planning and implementing Elekta solutions, working towards ensuring a timely, quality and under budget implementation. The Project Mangers is responsible for building client relationships and maintaining client satisfaction during and after the implementation. The Project Manager will work closely with other Elekta teams to schedule resources to complete the required task. The success of the Project Manager relies strongly on his/her ability to communicate, set and maintain clear expectations with everyone involved in the implementation. The Site Manager maintains and manages all aspects of site preparation to meet corporate requirements within established policies and guidelines for Linear Accelerator, Unity, and Gamma Knife products. This involves communicating and coordinating pre-installation knowledge to the customer to ensure that all site readiness requirements are met prior to delivery of designated equipment. This position requires extensive project management and customer interaction skills to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction. This position warrants the highest level of professional representation between the customer and the company as well as the undivided support of projects, programs, and policies established by Elekta. The Site Manager works in concert with Sales in a team concept and may be responsible for the Site Coordination as well as the Project Management of the implementation project. This position will be based in Mexico. Must be able to frequently travel with easy access to a major airport.
Responsibilities
• Customer Implementation Management and Project Management.
• Document and communicate the status of such implementations and constantly seeking ways to improve processes. Interface with customer's architectural and engineering firms to ensure accurate interpretation of Elekta equipment specifications and requirements.
• Perform onsite inspections to ensure compliance with site readiness requirements. Report results to project team.
• Regularly report and review the status of customer problems and issues to Project Manager and team.
• Review and contribute to product-specific engineering documentation. • Accountable to stay within budget guidelines.
• Provide information to support the tracking of project Key Performance Indicators.
• Identify organizational improvements and assist project team with implementation of changes.
• Participate in and hold Project Planning calls to provide updates on projects in respective areas.
• As necessary, develop project plans and materials to help forward the implementation process.
• Attend coordination and construction meetings as required.
• Coordinate training and clinical start-up requirement with team Project Manager and Sales.
• Provide vision and leadership to Project Team. Maintain accurate records of customer correspondence and communication. Must complete required paperwork and adhere to company established policies and procedures.
• Maintain all company assets and leased equipment in good working condition ensuring they are serviced and calibrated as required.
• Generate, edit, and maintain product-specific documentation distributed as part of implementation and process (e.g., Checklists, feature notes, technical references, interface specifications, help files, etc.)
• Generate or assist in the generation of proposals.
• Update Elekta Systems (e.g. CLM) with the project planning data to allow forecasting of revenue.
• Incorporates Elekta Values into all department functions
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.
Relevant Knowledge, skills and competencies
Minimum BS degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of 4-5 years of experience managing projects in a high-tech or construction environment.
• Bi-Lingual
• Team leader and player.
• Project Management experience desired with demonstrated effective project management skills.
Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills both in Spanish and in English.
Computer literate, with Intermediate level of MS Office software that demonstrates the ability to create appropriate job-related forms, presentations and reports.
PMP or other Project Management certification desired, not required.
• Ability to read architectural drawings.
• Demonstrated ability to accomplish objectives with and through others without direct control.
• Must possess valid Passport for International Travel • Must be able to travel as needed for the business. (75% - 85%).
