Audit, Risk and Compliance – Senior Advisory Specialist

(Hybrid – Guadalajara, Advanced English Required)


Position Overview

You are passionate about technology and consistently exceed expectations with your clients—from deadlines to deliverables. This is a hybrid position based in Guadalajara, Jalisco, and requires an advanced level of English to collaborate effectively in an international environment.

You will be responsible for executing and delivering solutions related to Managed Services requests from customers, playing a key role throughout the client engagement and product lifecycle.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead engagements independently or with a team and coordinate task allocation. Deliver Professional Services across the entire customer journey and/or product enablement lifecycle.
  • Support PS management, CS teams, and other stakeholders during the different stages of the customer lifecycle.
  • Leverage Domain, Industry, and Product expertise to guide customers on best practices for solution rollout and project execution.
  • Drive successful adoption and mitigate risks through the effective delivery of Professional Services.
  • Perform Quality Assurance on work delivered by Advisory Specialists I and II.
  • Continue to deepen Domain and Product knowledge to advise clients with up-to-date best practices through ongoing learning.
  • Identify specialty areas within the Domain/Product to become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and pursue related development.
  • Mentor Data Specialists and Advisory Specialists, including onboarding support as a "buddy" when needed.
  • Support senior management in business development activities such as discovery calls, RFP responses, and SOW generation.


Required Experience / Skills

  • 5–7 years of experience in a client-facing or consulting role (internal or external).
  • Strong customer-first mindset, with urgency, excellence, and accountability to outcomes.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and adherence to processes and procedures.
  • Strong time management, organizational skills, and ability to multitask in fast-paced settings.
  • Proactive problem-solver with a willingness to embrace new challenges.
  • Ability to thrive in dynamic environments and deliver under tight deadlines.
  • Passion for GRC areas: governance, audit, compliance, internal controls, information security, ESG, and/or risk management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deliver effective presentations or workshops.
  • Able to engage clients in meaningful solution discussions and resolve GRC-related challenges.
  • Relevant professional GRC certifications (planned, in progress, or completed), such as CIA, CISA, CRISC, CISSP, CPA, CFE, etc.
  • Advanced English proficiency is mandatory, both written and spoken.


Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Strong ability to manage timelines and customer expectations in line with project plans.
  • Understanding of Adoption Manager (AM) reporting needs for forecasting and budget tracking.
  • Capable of interpreting solution design plans and executing associated activities and milestones.
  • Constructive and specific in providing feedback to team members with a problem-solving focus.
