Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain the CMM area in a high state of cleanliness and organization
• Operate and program the CMM and other metrology equipment in a safe manner as per the manufacturer's guidelines
• Clean and maintain all CMM and other metrology equipment to a level that ensures accurate results and as per the manufacturer's guidelines
• Complete all tests as per submitted test requests. Record all findings on the proper documentation and forward the completed report to the requester
• Arrange and support equipment calibrations as per the gauge management software
• Maintain a calibration schedule that ensures an on-time calibration status
• Save all dimensional reports with revision identification in the designated electronic folder
• Any other duties as assigned by the QA Manager / Director of Quality

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (CQT preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in CMM/Metrology work.
• At least 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Romer Arm (CMM) training preferred.
• GDT and MSA certification preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Quality and Environmental Management System procedures related to the role.
• Experience in injection molding preferred.

Required Skills

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Proficiency in SPC (Statistical Process Control).
• Hands-on experience with problem-solving techniques, quality systems, and CMM measurements.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Intermediate to fluent English communication skills.
