In this Role, your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Build and update drawings using CAD systems, maintaining objective evidence of adequate implementation.
- Lead multifunctional product development teams on topics related to the assigned project.
- Work documentation through the preparation of drawings, BOM and RM.
- Select and specify tolerances, materials, and processes for design, as Provide feedback.
- Perform updates on Oracle system when required.
- Design modifications per customer requirements.
- Assist on standard products modifications.
- Technical support to Operations on ETOs assemblies, as well as to other departments for doubts and questions.
- Assist in training of new designers, technicians, and personnel from the same or other departments when required.
- Provide input on specifications for existing products.
- Provide follow up on discrepancies found in Bill of Materials and Drawings.
- Design of mechanical assemblies, sheet metal, machined, etc.
- Transfer production between plants (foreign to Mexico).
- Build new Mechanical CAD (2D) and (3D) drawings as the need arises.
- Generate Engineering Change requests (CRs) as the need arises.
- Generate and follow up of Release to Manufacture (RM) as the need arises.
- Participate on the Engineering To Order projects ensuring that the committed dates on the program schedules are met.

For this Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Design and Documentation of Mechanical components and systems including
- Expert in the use of CAE/CAD/CAM and preferably proven modeling.
- Knowledge in finite element analysis (FEA) and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge in Sheet metal design.
- Proficient English speaking and writing and the ability to communicate.
- Work and coordination with multidisciplinary and multicultural teams
- Problem-solving skills.
- Proactivity, Self-motivation and focus on continuous improvement.
- Experience using CAD tools like Solid Works and/or Solid Edge
- Knowledge of Engineering change management.
- Must be well organized, a team-player, and possess effective communication skills.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing processes.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- CAD modeling experience.
- Mechanical Design knowledge.
- Interpretation of engineering specifications for mechanical components.
- Capable of developing basic tolerance stack-ups and has good knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Ability to prioritize and optimally execute tasks.
- Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly.
- Knowledge of FEA (Finite Element Analysis) tools are a plus (ANSYS preferred).
- Knowledge on general metrology.
