Danfoss Mexico is looking for an experienced Logistic Supervisor based in our Manufacturing Plant in Reynosa. As our new Logistic Supervisor you will be responsible for receiving, storing, shipping and distribution of material according to Production schedules and Sales orders while preserving the integrity of the materials.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following.

• Execute and follow up the raw material issuances to the shop floor according to the production plan with aim to meet sales, OTD and past due goals.
• Ensure work load balancing between warehouse staff and report productivity, maintaining a warehouse fulfillment daily metric to eliminate production interruptions.
• Ensure the complete execution of the material flow documented procedure by the staff of the area. Keeping the correct entry to the MFGPRO system for the correct location in warehouse.
• Supervise the personnel in the warehouse area.
• Lead the physical inventory activities and equipment.
• Ensure the execution of the material handling documented procedures.
• Oversee the activities for the forklift drivers, pallet jacks, material handlers from the warehouse area.
• Ensure the physical files for cycle counts/root cause analysis sheet, scrap tickets and absoletes are correctly ordered in a systematic and timely manner.
• Follow Up critical/urgent materials.
• Follow up an immediate escalation with the involved departments when any materials with issues by system or logistic avoid the continuos material flow.
• Maintain accuracy of on hand inventory by cycle counting program periodically.
• Ensure the workplace safety conditions in the infrastructure of the area such as racks conditions, maximun stack, etc; as well to ensure the people works or visit the area complies with the EPP requirements as the EHS procedures stablished.
• Ensure the compliance of the safety rules for the forklift drivers as well as the correct usage of the equipment to lift the different materials in the whole plant.
• Support and/or participate on Continuous Improvement activities such as; Kaizen, Ideas programs, cost out and/or demonstrate improvements in goals year over year in our processes or practices aligned to achieve our business goal and objectives.
• Create purchasing Requisitions of indirect materials, equipments and services needed for the Warehouse/Shipping department.
• Lead cost reduction initiatives and projects for the Wharehouse, receiving and shipping area.

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or Supply Chain preferred
• 3-5 yrs of experience as supervisor in warehouse, shipping or receiving area
• Experience in managing, developing and coaching people
• Highly advanced analytical and cognitive skills
• Microsoft Office (intermediate level)
• Communication skills
• Sense of urgency"
