Job Description

Bertoni Solutions is looking for a Sr Java Fullstack Developer to work 100% remote for a Mexican client (San Pedro, Monterrey).

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of designers, developers, and stakeholders to create exceptional user experiences through Angular-based web applications.
• Provide valuable insights and contribute to the development lifecycle.
• Utilize your expertise in Angular, particularly versions 8 and above, to design, implement, and maintain robust front-end solutions that meet business requirements.
• Demonstrate familiarity with Java development principles, enabling effective collaboration with backend teams for seamless application integration.
• If you possess experience with Kafka or Camel, bring your knowledge to the table to enhance our application's messaging and integration capabilities.
• Apply your understanding of Microsoft Azure services, including architecture and cloud computing, to optimize the scalability and performance of our applications.
• Ensure code reliability by incorporating CI/CD pipelines, following Azure DevOps practices, and implementing automated testing frameworks.
• Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders, providing updates on progress and technical insights.
• Showcase your advanced to upper-intermediate English proficiency in both written and spoken communication to facilitate collaboration and understanding.

Qualifications

• Applicants must be located in Mexico.
• Master's degree in computer science is preferred; a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
• +5 to 6 years of hands-on experience in Fullstack development (focus on backend).
• Expertise in Java (versions 8 forward) and familiarity with Angular development (versions 8 forward)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services, including a solid grasp of architecture and cloud computing concepts.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps practices, and automated testing frameworks, ensuring code reliability and efficient development workflows.
• Upper-intermediate to Advanced English proficiency, allowing you to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse team members and stakeholders.

Nice to have:

• Desirable experience with Kafka or Camel, highlighting your potential to contribute to messaging and integration functionalities.
• Microservices experience would be helpful (Docker & Kubernetes)
• Experience with Insurance Policy Administration and Management systems, particularly in the domain of automobile policy management systems, is highly desired.
