Job Description

Key Role Daily Activities:

• Collaborate closely with product leadership, designers, and engineers to build and maintain our frontend React applications.
• Partner with key business units across the company to gain the empathy that is critical in the creation of solutions to help make lives better.
• Working with retail partners to understand their pain points, and build tools that directly solves their needs
• Contribute to efforts and software design discussions on how to best factor complex, business critical logic into an efficient, consistent and delightful user experience.
• Work cross-stack with other engineering teams to drive solutions.

Key Role Requirements:

• Demonstrated working experience with JavaScript, CSS and HTML.
• Experience with the latest versions of React.
• Demonstrated understanding of the importance of testing discipline.
• Familiar with web security, SEO, accessibility and internationalization.
• Demonstrated experience in performance optimizations and trends.
• Working knowledge of best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Comprehension of the principles of API design and web service integration.
• Ability to work collaboratively with engineers of various skill levels and technical abilities.
• Comfortable working with a distributed team.
• A passion for learning and development to invest in the betterment of self.

Nice to Haves:

• Experience with GraphQL
• Experience working in Redux, Typescript, ES6, Jest, React Testing Library
• Experience with styled-components
• Familiarity with test automation frameworks
• Comprehension of end to end coded UI tests
• Working knowledge of agile and DevOps practices and principles
• Conceptually aware of cloud computing platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• 4 year college degree
