POSITION OBJECTIVE

• We are seeking a BI Developer to work with a high-performance team and help the delivery of Analytics & Business Intelligence (BI) projects. The main mandate is to ensure that projects assigned will be delivery on time, automatizing tools to support the operation and by creating dashboards for executives towards strategic decision to optimize costs within our material network.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with the Business Analyst to have a clear understanding of the data and business rules of the existing or future state solution.
• Develop data model using MS Power BI while leveraging best practices (Star Schema,
• Naming Conventions, Facts and Dimensions).
• Give recommendations related to Power BI datasets performance.
• Work in coordination with the project owners and the analytics team in an agile (Sprint) way to deliver on identified initiatives.
• Integrate new data sources by calling APIs using Python.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Analytical Skills: Strong visual design skills used in creating information dense, easy to visualize reports and dashboards.

Technical Skills:

• Good knowledge of the MS Power Platform suite (mainly Power BI).
• Good knowledge in querying databases using the SQL language.
• Knowledge of DAX Studio (Recommended)
• Knowledge of Azure Dev ops Pipeline.

Communication Skills:

• Able to effectively communicate to stakeholders their findings and opportunities.
• Problem-Solving:
• Analyze data trends and propose solutions to create more revenue by reducing waste.

Time Management:

• Work on projects prioritizing and focusing on higher value tasks.

Qualifications:

• Self-driven, Organized, Teamwork oriented & Leadership skills.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Business Management or Business Analysis.

Experience:

• Min. 2 -4 years' experience design and development of reporting and business intelligence solutions.

Language:

• Fluent in Spanish written and verbal.
• English written and verbal (Min: 80%).
• Knowledge of French or German is an advantage
