We are seeking a Software Engineer with strong experience in Perl, PHP, SQL, and Linux, to join our team in supporting and developing in-house applications and web pages. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in L1, L2, and L3 support activities and ongoing sustaining development for custom systems.
This position requires a solid understanding of legacy and current scripting technologies, server-side development, and Linux-based environments. The role involves both support (issue resolution, troubleshooting, performance tuning) and ongoing feature enhancements or updates.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide L1/L2/L3 support for in-house developed web applications and tools.
Maintain and enhance applications written in CGI, Perl, PHP, SQL on Linux systems.
Collaborate with operations and engineering teams to investigate, diagnose, and resolve issues.
Contribute to sustaining development: implement changes, bug fixes, and minor enhancements.
Document code changes, support procedures, and system configurations.
Ensure reliability and performance of web applications critical to internal business processes.

Qualifications:
3–6+ years of experience in software development or application support.
Strong proficiency with Perl, PHP, SQL, and Linux environments.
Experience supporting or maintaining in-house web applications.
Familiarity with CGI scripting and legacy codebases.
Ability to troubleshoot and debug production systems effectively.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Nice to Have:
Familiarity with semiconductor or manufacturing industry systems.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, SVN).
Exposure to shell scripting or Python is a plus.
Knowledge of performance monitoring tools or log analyzers.
