Purpose:
To make as significant a contribution to Bisco Industries' goal of “Being the best distributor in the world of fasteners and components used in the production of electronic and aerospace products and to contribute the maximum effort through my sales activities toward the goals of bisco Industries, Inc. with the following guidelines in mind.
Goals:
To increase revenue goals in the target customers and markets.
Exceed sales goals forecasted monthly, quarterly and yearly.
Key Responsibilities:
· Consistent contact with core buyers to increase sales.
· Update customer files to assure they are accurate.
· Follow-up to quotes and keep quote history records current in the system.
· Core accounts are visited a minimum of twice a fiscal year, if possible.
· Build Relationships manufacturer's representatives.
· All inbound calls are answered professionally and quickly.
· Accuracy of quotes and quote numbers are data entered in the system.
· Customer inquiries for quotes and orders are responded to in four hours or less.
· Customers are contacted daily and advised in advance of late orders.
· Line cards, literature and catalog requests are processed the same day.
· Customer requests to cancel or to change orders are processed according to policy.
· Initiate efforts to create open account with customers who are placing their first order.
· Telemarketing coverage is logged to indicate the coverage achieved on core account buyers.
· Manage desk in a professional organized manner presentable to vendors and customers.
· Remote training is completed timely and accurately to receive.
Qualification:
- Strong communication skills; verbal and written.
- 3-5 years Sales experience
- Must be able to demonstrate success in previous work history or education.
- Must demonstrate ability to use computers; Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
- Must be willing to learn about bisco Industries, our industry, market and our customers.
- Bachelor's degree is a plus.
- Prior work experience in a transferable field; sales focused or goal focused industry, i.e. retail, call center, inside sales, outside sales, insurance, etc.
Physical Requirement:
Must be able to sit at a desk for 8 hours a day with reasonable break time allowances
Must be able to lift necessary standard office equipment and office tools and sample kits.
