Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (mandatory).
• Active professional association membership desirable (CPA equivalent in Mexico).

Required Experience:

• 3 to 5 years of experience in general accounting and financial reporting.
• At least 1 year preparing managerial or financial reports.
• Experience in multinational companies (preferred but not mandatory).
• Knowledge and application of Mexican Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) and tax regulations.

Reports to:

Finance Director / Plant Manager.

Knowledge:

• Mexican tax legislation and compliance requirements.
• Auditing standards, account statement vs Invoices
• Petty cash administration and follow bank reconciliations.
• SAP or other ERP systems preferred (Oracle, JD Edwards, Dynamics, CONTPAQi).
• Advanced English (Is a must).

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong sense of responsibility and professional ethics.
• Results-oriented with strict adherence to deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities:

• Track and review accounting and financial records (sales, purchases, depreciations, payroll, service payments, etc.).
• Follow bank reconciliations and monthly financial reports.
• Follow the full accounting cycle, ensuring compliance with internal and tax policies.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
• Participate in results analysis and preparation of management reports.
• Support the implementation of internal controls and special projects as assigned.
