1. Purpose
Ensure that product, customer, and business requirements are defined and consistently met throughout the manufacturing processes, continuously improving performance and efficiency.

3. Dimensions of the Position
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and optimize current processes.
Draft and implement process improvements to drive key performance indicators (KPIs).
Support the development of risk assessments and mitigation plans.
Design, test, and validate new or modified processes.
Ensure compliance with all safety and quality standards.
Develop routines and best practices to guarantee product quality, including CNC programming, oven cycles, and equipment calibration.
Create and update documentation such as standardized work instructions, PFMEAs, and process sheets.
Participate in root cause analysis and improvement actions related to customer complaints and internal rejections.
Generate requisitions for tools and equipment required for process enhancements or new product introductions.
Coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) activities.
Create and validate process routes and Bills of Materials (BOMs), as needed.
4. Key Result Areas
Performance of processes in terms of Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Cost.
5. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferred specialization in manufacturing, mechanical, or industrial engineering).
6. Experience
Minimum of two years in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
7. Knowledge
Proficient in problem-solving tools such as 8D, Six Sigma, and 5 Whys.
Understanding of refractory manufacturing processes.
Experience with CNC machinery and programming.
Skilled in the use of measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers).
Competent in interpreting technical drawings.
8. Skills & Behaviour

Proficiency in software tools such as Minitab, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office.
Effective verbal and written communication in English.
