Job description
Responsibilities
Implement and maintain ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) systems.
Ensure compliance with Mexican NOM standards (e.g., NOM-001-STPS, NOM-005-STPS, NOM-017-STPS) and liaise with authorities like STPS, SEMARNAT, and PROFEPA2.
Coordinate and lead internal and external audits, including client and government inspections.
Manage chemical substances and hazardous materials in accordance with national regulations.
Investigate workplace incidents, analyze root causes, and report KPI metrics.
Deliver EHS training programs and promote a culture of safety and environmental responsibility.
Oversee CSR initiatives and drive continuous improvement in sustainability and compliance.
Education
Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, Industrial Safety, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
Experience 5 years or more.
