APPLICATIONS ENGINEER

Purpose:
Will be responsible for the successful development and growth of the market according to the corporate strategy.

This position will act as lead person in the applications function conducting testing of core products, develop process, documentation of testing and follow-up of testing opportunities.

Main Responsibilities:

-Develop and promote a corporate Strategy to pursue application market and monitor the implementation of the results through the regions

-Transfer the Marketing Strategy for the region

-Work closely with the Sales Manager / Sales Supervisors by assisting with Establishing Priorities, Defining Objectives, Measuring results and Providing monthly reports detailing recent results and upcoming opportunities.

-Testing core products at end-users' sites with or in support of our local FSE

-Documenting test results on a Walter test report and circulating the results to the appropriate people.

-Follow-up of testing opportunities to ensure the accuracy of the data

-Responsible for training of FSE's

-Work with Engineering to help design processes and projects

Your profile
Five years experience in the Tooling industry

Experienced in the metalworking industries

Willingness to travel

Solid communication skills, both oral and written English Language

Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
