Position Summary:
Ensures that test equipment is operating in optimum conditions, keeping its performance within target. Ensure product quality by ensuring that the tests required by the customer / process are met. Increase test coverage on current processes as required by the process. Likewise, its scope of responsibility includes the support in services of optimization and innovation of processes and improvements in the lines of production and development of solutions and integration of new technologies to the current processes by applying the HPS philosophy. Technical knowledge sharing through employee trainings.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
As a part of the supervisory responsibilities, if there is not an employee to attend the process, the direct boss will have to attend the process or assign the activities to another employee (with equal qualifications).
Job Responsibilities:
Generate documentation for the development of electronics controls of machinery and test equipment. Review progress in manufacturing control and test software for all test devices on a production line.
Detect the root causes of repetitive problems and solve the problem in support of Production.
Propose improvements to production equipment for their operational efficiency.
Carry out the installation of new equipment or transfer by area movements ensuring that the equipment is in optimal conditions for its operation.
Ensure that the controls and their test software correspond to the requirements of the customer, obtain and support all technical information on the network.
Support AME engineers in line installation.
Train or organize the training of Maintenance / Production personnel in technical and operational matters through suppliers or personal teaching.
Conduct studies of machinery capacity of new devices and products.
Receive and test the functionality of new devices.
Another activities assigned by Test Engineering Leader.
Basic Qualifications:

Higher education with the following titles: Bachelor with studies in Electronics Engineering and with specialization in Control / Digital Systems or related.
Knowledge of Electronic Circuits Analysis.
Programming of PLC's and DAQ's control devices.
CAN BUS software and diagnostics of CAN BUS Messages.
LabVIew.
CAN / LIN / Flex Ray communication.
Failure Analysis.
Handling of electrical and mechanical measuring instruments: vernier, micrometer, oscilloscope, audio analyzer, CEP.
Management of c ++ programming languages, graphic (labview), test sequencers, known platforms (Test Stand, ApWin).
Scape (internal vacancy).
90% English (read technical information, write and maintain a conversation at a technical level).

Automotive Electronics Fault Analysis, Quality Systems and Standards (VDA, Field Failure Analysis, ISO 9001-2000, 14000 and AIAG Manuals).
Management of related areas with 8D's, Core Tools and Six Sigma.
Geometric Tolerances GD&T.
Experience of two years in maintenance, manufacture of electronic controls or some related position in automotive industry.
Interpretation of planes and mechanical tolerances.
Basic knowledge of the German language.
Eligibility Requirements:
Monitoring and PLC programs: Program review, fault detection.
Programming in Visual Basic: Review of program faults.
Pneumatic knowledge: Know how to operate pneumatic equipment and interpret diagrams.
Knowledge of sensors: Know how different types of sensors work.
Systems of Vision and discrimination by optical tests.
