About the role

Test Engineer focused on preparing and performing electrical, mechanical and performance evaluations on Air Conditioning products for Cooling and Heat Pump units, based on standards such as ANSI, AHRI and ASHRAE.

Key Responsibilities

As a Test Engineer - Performance (HVAC) you'll be responsible for:

• Executing of Electrical and Performance Tests based on UL 60335-2-40, AHRI 210/240, AHRI 340/ 360, ASHRAE 41.2 (Flow Measurement), AHRI / DOE Rating & Performance, and any Carrier reliability tests.
• Performing test reports, ensuring that the measured results are real and true, as well as compliance with test execution times.
• Ensuring Laboratory Certification by UL, ISO and ETL.
• Promoting the execution and compliance of Continuous Improvement tools / 5's.
• Supporting Sustaining, Engineering, Operations and NPD department for the different projects for continuous improvement of the company and company developments.

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

• BA/BS degree in Engineering: IMC, IEC, IE, IME
• 2-4 years of experience in related fields.
• Must be fluent in Spanish and English (written and oral).
• Excellent communication skills
