We are currently seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Molding Operations Manager to lead our molding department and drive operational performance in a fast-paced, high-tech environment.

Position Summary

The Molding Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of plastic injection molding operations, including personnel management, production efficiency, quality assurance, and strategic planning. This role requires a hands-on leader with deep technical expertise in molding processes and a proven ability to lead and inspire teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the molding department, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity targets are met.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of technicians, supervisors, and operators.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on process optimization, waste reduction, and cost efficiency.
• Oversee the maintenance and performance of injection molding equipment.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to support new product introductions and ongoing production.
• Ensure compliance with quality management systems and industry standards.
• Manage departmental resources, budgets, and strategic planning efforts.
• Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in a similar leadership role within a plastic injection molding environment.
• Strong technical knowledge of injection molding equipment and processes.
• Demonstrated experience in personnel management and team leadership.
• Solid understanding of quality systems, manufacturing methods, and operational best practices.
• Proven ability to manage projects and resources effectively.
• Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to influence and inspire teams in a dynamic, fast-paced setting.
• Fluent English is highly desirable.
• US Visa (high desirable).
