Responsibilities

The Opportunity

Our Jr Digital Art role is a specialist with a specific skillset centered around art creation and design. A successful candidate must have a proficient level of understanding and functional capability in software designed for creation of graphics and designs from scratch, ability to edit and manipulate creative, and will be responsible for the development and creation of production ready graphics, such as digital banners and paid media content. Additionally, the Jr Digital Art must be proficient in editorial design have the ability of generating a design system to tell a story with full consistency. The Jr Digital Art needs to possess motion graphic skills and basic 3D knowledge to support requests for editing and creating product images from scratch.

Your Impact

As Jr Digital Art your functions would consist of:

• Adaptation of existing master graphics / key visuals to create digital banners and paid media content both static and animated.
• Ability to design and conceptualize master graphics / key visuals and adapt to different materials when needed.
• Understanding and conceptualization of the needs established in the brand brief for the development of graphics.
• Digital retouching and image creation (including, product mockups, color, layout, sizing, etc.)
• Concept & development skills (layout, design, colour, etc) to create and deliver presentations and internal comms deliverables such as newsletters and presentations.
• Ability to build graphic and simple print designs and concepts when needed.
• Ability to build animated graphic materials, such as animated gifs and videos.
• Modifying designs after receiving feedback
• Working in coordination with Account & Sytrategy team to ensure delivery on time and within quality expectations.

Qualifications

Who Are We Looking For?

• Bachelor's degree in a directly related field (Graphic design, Animation, Advertising, Visual arts, etc.)
• 1-3 years of experience in art / graphic design
• Language proficiency both in English and Spanish is a must for this role
• Strong problem-solving, communications, and relationship-building skills
• Content adaptation skills across different static, animated and video formats.
• Presentation skills and proven ability to influence creative decision making are a must
• Proficiency in Photoshop and Illustrator
• Intermediate knowledge of motion graphics & animating (Adobe After Effects)
• Basic knowledge of Editing (Adobe Premiere)
• Knowledge of PowerPoint
• Strong creative portfolio, available online
