The Launch Engineer supports the coordination of new product launch projects at the plant, ensuring that customer requirements in terms of quality, cost, and time are met, working together with multidisciplinary teams through the following activities

• Launch management: Follow up on project plans, schedules, and deliverables, ensuring that deadlines and customer requirements are met.

• Coordination with internal departments: Collaborate with departments such as quality, engineering, production, and purchasing to ensure that all launch processes are aligned.

• Follow up on engineering changes: Support the implementation of product and process changes requested by the customer, from analysis to plant approval.

• Control of documentation and reports: Support the preparation of reports, use of internal portals and technical documentation for the project.

• Support for continuous improvement activities: Participate in initiatives that seek to improve the product, reduce costs, or eliminate rework during project development.

Required knowledge:

• Education: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Project Management, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years of professional role within the automotive industry in project management areas.

• Proficiency in Drawing Interpretation (GD&T) and 2D and 3D CAD

• Knowledge of the IATF 16949 Standard
