Production Supervisor – Sand Casting foundry (Core Making Process)

Job Purpose:

To supervise and coordinate the activities of the core making production area in the Sand Casting foundry, ensuring efficient, safe, and high-quality production of sand cores using cold box and hot box methods, in compliance with company standards for safety, quality, and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the production of sand cores using silica sand and cold box and hot box core making machines.
• Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery timelines are met.
• Coordinate with maintenance, engineering, and quality departments to ensure equipment and tooling are in optimal condition.
• Train and lead operating personnel, promoting best practices in manufacturing and safety.
• Monitor and control material consumption and recipes; report any deviations or inefficiencies.
• Maintain accurate records of production output, scrap, downtime, and corrective actions.
• Participate in internal and external audits and support implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with company policies on safety, occupational health, and environmental standards.
• Communicate effectively in English with technical teams, suppliers, and corporate personnel.

Job Requirements:

• Education: Degree in Industrial, Metallurgical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of proven experience in the core making process using silica sand, with cold box and hot box machines. Preferable in a high mix production level.
• Technical Knowledge:
