This is a leading Mexican company in the metal distribution and processing industry, specializing in flat steel products. Its portfolio includes commercial profiles, galvanized and painted sheets, hot-rolled and cold-rolled steel, industrial pipes, beams, and structural channels. With a strong presence in the national market, the company plays a key role in supplying materials to sectors such as construction, manufacturing, and infrastructure.
Position Summary:
The Human Resources Director will lead and manage all HR functions for a dynamic manufacturing company based in Mexico City. This role is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company's business goals, fostering a high-performance culture, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws and global HR best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization.
- Lead talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning initiatives.
- Oversee performance management, employee engagement, and organizational development programs.
- Ensure compliance with Mexican labor laws and regulations, as well as internal policies.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs to remain competitive in the market.
- Promote a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the HR team and support the development of HR professionals.
- Partner with senior leadership to support business growth and transformation initiatives.
- Lead change management efforts and support organizational restructuring when necessary.
- Monitor HR metrics and use data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong knowledge of Mexican labor law and HR compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in strategic HR planning and execution.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
