Description
Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data. Prepares and analyzes financial reports, including balance sheets, income and loss statements and tax returns.
Key responsibilities
• Prepares asset, liability and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information, preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statements and monthly closing and cost accounting reports
• Maintains financial security by following internal controls.
• Complies with federal, state and local financial legal requirements of existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements and advising management on needed actions.
• Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.
• Ensures accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses.
• Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations; explains billing invoices and accounting policies to staff, vendors and clients.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
• 2-3 years of experience as Accountant.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP's, nested functions). Experience with Oracle Applications (or similar platform).
• Experience in high volume Billing or Processing environment.
• Strong knowledge of cost and revenue accounting principles.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
• Advanced English level is preferred.
• Candidates must be located either in Mexico City, Puebla, Leon or Guadalajara.
