As an HR Generalist (payroll focused) for the Americas region, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate and timely execution of core HR processes, including onboarding, payroll, benefits administration, HRIS data management, and reporting. This position is critical to delivering a seamless employee experience and supporting operational excellence across the US and Mexico.

Responsibilities

Support the development of best-in-class onboarding processes by reducing manual tasks, simplifying procedures, and driving operational efficiency.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of onboarding, payroll reports, benefits, bonus payouts, severances, and other employee-related payments.
Maintain and update employee data across HRIS, Payroll, and Time & Attendance systems.
Prepare and deliver fixed and ad hoc reports, including monthly, yearly, and on-demand analyses.
Serve as the primary point of contact for employees and managers, providing support via phone and email.
Collaborate with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure alignment with corporate initiatives and seamless process integration.
Support internal and external audits related to payroll and ensure compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
Coordinate monthly payments and deductions, and assist with onboarding activities for new hires.

Required skills and experience

Minimum of 3 years of experience in an HR-Payroll related role.
Proficient in HRIS system, with a strong understanding of payroll, taxes, IMSS, time & attendance, and benefits processes.
Excellent communication skills in both the local language and English, along with strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel, Word, and Outlook).
Detail-oriented and highly accurate, with a proactive, solution-focused mindset and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a strategic approach to process improvement and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a team-oriented environment.
Customer-focused, with a collaborative attitude and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or Business related.
100% proficient in English.
