The Organizational Development and Training Manager designs and implements strategies to enhance organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and employee engagement across multiple sites. This role leads change management, performance management, succession planning, and talent development. It oversees training coordination, compliance with legal and audit standards, and fosters a space of continuous improvement and innovation aligned with corporate goals.

Description

The Organizational Development & Training Manager is responsible for leading and executing comprehensive development strategies aimed at enhancing organizational effectiveness, leadership capabilities, and employee engagement across multiple manufacturing sites. This newly created role oversees a team of supervisors and trainers, ensuring the delivery of impactful training programs aligned with corporate goals and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement annual training and leadership development plans tailored to the needs of a multisite operation.

  • Lead change management initiatives by providing frameworks, coaching, and support to leaders navigating organizational transformation.

  • Conduct organizational assessments, including audits, skills gap analyses, and SWOT evaluations to identify development opportunities.

  • Oversee performance management processes, succession planning, and talent development initiatives in partnership with HR and business leaders.

  • Manage the creation and delivery of digital learning content, ensuring compliance with legal standards such as STPS and ISO audits.

  • Collaborate with plant supervisors and training teams to coordinate and facilitate effective learning interventions.

  • Develop and execute employee engagement surveys and action plans to foster a space of continuous improvement, inclusion, and collaboration.

  • Drive the establishment of an internal corporate university to centralize and enhance learning and development offerings.

  • Ensure alignment of local training initiatives with global HR strategies and participate in virtual meetings with international teams.

  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of training programs, recommending improvements and innovative approaches, including the integration of technology and AI.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Maintain strong communication and collaboration across multiple sites and departments.

  • Manage project timelines and budgets related to organizational development and training activities.

  • Foster an environment of proactive learning and leadership development, encouraging employee participation and engagement.

  • Ensure all training and development efforts adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements.

Profile

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in OD, coaching (ICF), or change management are a plus.

  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in organizational development, training, or HR strategy roles within medium to large multisite organizations, preferably in manufacturing or electronics industries with high operational standards.

  • Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong project management and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.

    • Expertise in designing and implementing change management strategies and leadership development programs.

    • Proficiency in conducting organizational assessments, talent development, succession planning, and performance management.

    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with fluency in English and Spanish.

    • Proactive, autonomous, and able to work within a structured reporting framework.

    • Experience with digital learning tools, e-learning platforms, and familiarity with AI or technology-driven training solutions.

    • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at various levels.

  • Personal Attributes:

  • Additional Requirements:

    • Availability to travel between plants (located within 30 minutes of each other).
