Duties and Responsibilities
Maintain the CMM area in a high state of cleanliness and organization
Operate and program the CMM and other metrology equipment in a safe manner as per the manufacturer's guidelines
Clean and maintain all CMM and other metrology equipment to a level that ensures accurate results and as per the manufacturer's guidelines
Complete all tests as per submitted test requests. Record all findings on the proper documentation and forward the completed report to the requester
Arrange and support equipment calibrations as per the gauge management software
Maintain a calibration schedule that ensures an on-time calibration status
Save all dimensional reports with revision identification in the designated electronic folder
Any other duties as assigned by the QA Manager / Director of Quality
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (CQT preferred).
Minimum 3 years of experience in CMM/Metrology work.
At least 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.
Romer Arm (CMM) training preferred.
GDT and MSA certification preferred.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of Quality and Environmental Management System procedures related to the role.
Experience in injection molding preferred.
Required Skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Proficiency in SPC (Statistical Process Control).
Hands-on experience with problem-solving techniques, quality systems, and CMM measurements.
Ability to work independently and manage tasks with minimal supervision.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
Intermediate to fluent English communication skills.
