Job Summary
LA North Sales Manager is responsible for all commercial related resources an activity within the Andean Region & Mexico. These activities include managing the resources that make up the sales & service team and sales initiatives according to our NBS Next growth framework to increase profitable growth. The successful candidate is an outgoing international personality with strong people and management skills as well as sales dedication for technical solutions combined with a strong customer passion. As the LA North Sales Manager the candidate must understand customer needs throughout the region and position the sales & service team as required to generate a high customer satisfaction level and a healthy and accurate opportunity pipeline. The key elements are to manage and motivate the sales team to increase profitable growth, drive market share and develop data-driven strategies for our customers. Provide leadership and coaching in all areas of NBS Next, especially Strategic Discipline, Customer Success and driving profitable growth with our top customers and top products.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Participates in the strategic sales planning process and creates LA North annual regional sales plan based on the company priorities and strategy
- Cascades key company sales goals and objectives to the LA North sales team and monitors achieving key targets & metrics
- Drives full utilization of the customer management system (C4C) to track key sales metrics & pipeline management within NBS Customer Success Element.
- Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to drive profitable growth
- Owns LA North reporting to track all key sales metrics and pipeline management
- Manage all LA North sales and service activities, contract performance, complaints, resolutions or mediation processes
- Maintains granular understanding of regional requirements, trends, risks, opportunities and satisfaction level
- Intensive partnership at all levels with LA North Sales Team and customer service to identify customer needs and trends at an early stage to create business opportunities
- Secures that LA North customer voice is heard and shared within the rest of the NW organization and incorporated in strategy and product development
- Work closely with Sales Director, Americas to support development of sales strategies, tools and tactics to drive sales
- Set best in class examples for sales team in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits
- Hire, develop and manage a team of LA North account managers to meet/exceed sales goals and profitability
- Responsible for the performance appraisal, development, and training of the LA North sales team
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within the sales teams
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration, or Marketing preferred
- 5 + years experience in sales, project management, or key account management within LA North Region & NW industry
- Willingness to travel and work as needed to support regional customer requirements
- Fluent in communication within the region with local language & understanding of business culture
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong relationship building skills
- Strong selling skills required to identify and close opportunities
- Strong customer passion
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and business skills
- "Getting things done" attitude
- Proficiency in critical technologies (MS Office, C4C, Power BI tools, etc.)
