Job Title: International Market Research (Intelligence) / International Business Development Analyst JR (Energy, Power, Gas, Plastics, Mobility sector)
Location: Cuauhtémoc, Mexico City
Reports To: Director of Business Development
Compensation and Benefits:

Job Purpose:
The International Market Intelligence / International Business Development Analyst JR will support the New Business Development Department by conducting comprehensive analysis of market conditions, including financial, political, economic, and legal factors, specifically in one or more of the following sectors (Energy, Power, Gas, Plastics, Mobility). This role is designed to provide valuable insights and intelligence that will assist in identifying new business opportunities. Note: This is not a sales position; it is a supportive role to the commercial team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of financial, political, economic, and legal conditions in international markets, particularly in the energy sector.
- Gather market intelligence from external sources such as government offices, associations, conventions, and chambers of commerce.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations with actionable insights to guide business development strategies.
- Participate in industry conferences, expos, and meetings to gain valuable business intelligence and maintain industry awareness.
- Provide key contextual information to the sales team to support the development of commercial relationships (note: not involved in direct sales processes).
- Create visual reports using tools such as PowerPoint, ensuring that the information is accessible and easily understandable for stakeholders.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in International Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 o 3 years in a similar role, with a focus on analyzing market conditions, specifically in one or more of the following sectors (Energy, Power, Gas, Plastics, Mobility)
- Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in English.
- Strong expertise in researching and analyzing financial, political, economic, and legal trends.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to gather and synthesize relevant information from diverse external sources.
- Solid understanding specifically in one or more of the following sectors (Energy, Power, Gas, Plastics, Mobility), including investment trends, regulations, and key market drivers.
- Knowledge of energy-related market dynamics and regulatory frameworks.
Desirable Attributes:
- Strong understanding of the energy sector and key players within the market.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with relevant industry contacts.
- Collaborative and team-oriented, with the ability to work cross-functionally with different departments.
