About the Role

Sr. Software Integrator Engineer for Build & Integration activities for CarAudio programs.

What You Will Do

• Will support system developers by handling development related software configuration management (SCM) tasks.
• Duties will include daily interaction and communication with the development team to coordinate release activities; merging, labeling, and building development source code; creating and enhancing tools and scripts; reviewing existing SCM processes to identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborating with and gathering input from management and lead developers to implement process enhancements and improvements
• Implementation of build automation and monitoring process.
• May direct the work of 1-2 other engineers.
• Improve and define current SW integration workflow, process.
• Define and improve branching strategy, build strategy, Release process, etc.
• Build up and maintain SW integration Infrastructure.
• Provide SW integration support to project team. Such as software (automatic) build, software release, DCN release, static code analysis, WIG process, etc.
• Integrate interface together with SWPL, assist the SWPL create software release plan and finish software release on time
• Code integration activities and perform branch integration.
• Design concept for automation of unit and integration testing and release if needed.
• Define or optimize process for SW CI (Continuous Integration) Release and CR (Customer Release).
• Automate software development process steps wherever possible like unit testing, integration testing, etc.
• Import, customize and improve global automation facility to meet SPDC SW team's requirement
• EQ merge and SW version / part number update
• SW download test and build test and auto-build verification and test
• Supporting in executing the CIs/CRs
• Run CodeSonar and push to resolve all issues
• Release to SW Test, and after complete SW internal test, release to TQE
• DCN release process

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5+ years' experience using Git to support the workflow of software development projects on Windows and Linux Systems also knowledge to manage multiple parallel development streams and release repositories by means of branching, staging, merging and tagging.
• 5+ years' experience in Static Analysis Tools, Code Coverage Tools, Unit Test Tools, Open Source Compliance Tools and integration with Build systems.
• 5+ years of experience into scripting languages Perl, Python, Groovy, shell scripting.
• Knowledge in embedded software development or testing.
• CI/CD Concepts and knowledge into usage of Devops Automation Tools (Ansible, Docker, Jenkins, Bamboo, etc)
• Preferred skills include knowledge of OS Systems like Linux, QNX or Android
