Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with engineers and project managers in designing and drafting plans for infrastructure (e.g. roads, bridges, water sewage treatment plants).
- Ensure projects are completed within allotted budgets and schedules.
- Develop and maintain project plans and schedules in coordination with other project team members.
- Prepare designs and specifications using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
- Conduct site visits to assess site conditions and obtain necessary data for designs.
- Collaborate with other team members to prepare technical reports and presentations.
- Prepare project proposals, tender documents, and submittals as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience in designing and drafting infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of Civil 3D, TEKLA, SAP structural and Smartplant design software.
- Knowledge of Mexican normativity (RCDF, NTCS, CFE (Wind - Earthquake))
- Knowledge in structural design.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of local and national building codes and regulations.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
