APQP ENGINEER - Piedras Negras IV Plant, Structures Division.
Piedras Negras, Coahuila.
As APQP Engineer you will be responsible to lead the APQP process in Piedras Negras Campus, to achieve successful launches and transfers on time and according to the budget assigned. Driving and escalating any issues happening and which might potentially affect the APQP process and the deliveries with the correct quality to the final customers, also in line with the other defined operational metrics (safety, delivery & performance).
YOUR TASK WILL BE:
• Responsible for keeping updated and managing compliance with APQP system procedures.
• Coordinate, manage and keep the PDCA Wall updated.
• Upload information to the SQMS system
• Maintain communication with your multidisciplinary team to achieve goals.
TO BE SUCCESSFULL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
• Completed University studies (degree or intern letter) as Industrial Engineer or related field.
• Requires +3 years of experience as APQP/Launch Engineer in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge in APQP, Core Tools, DFMEA & PFMEA, GD&T (interpretation of drawings and technical language).
• Advanced quality knowledge
• Strong comunications skills.
• Bilingual, conversational and written English at an advanced level is essential for this position.
