About the role

This position executes the engineering change process for commercial HVAC systems. They will support engineering projects from the definition phase through detailed design. They will also manage the product life cycle and maintain engineering integrity. This position is also responsible for continuous improvement by automating and optimizing design processes. Participating in engineering projects and is involved in concept development, planning, scoping and time management is also an important part. Lastly, they will provide design support to commercial plants by participating in implementation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

As a NPD Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

• Produces drawings and BOMs using computer-assisted drafting systems (CAD) and PLM system
• Designs and drafts components, assemblies and packaging
• Completes design tasks using PLM workflows
• Follows and adheres to products design Engineering specifications.
• Maintain integrity in all engineer data and keep the engineering bill of materials updated.

Requirements

As a minimum you must have:

• BSc in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering Administrator, Aeronautics, Mechatronics, Industrial Design, Electrical)
• 2 years of experience as a design engineer or product engineer.
• Knowledge utilizing CREO Parametrics and Windchill (or Similar)
• Advanced English (required)
• Knowledge in engineering drawings
• Experience managing Engineering Changes

Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:

• HVAC Knowledge
• Programming / Automation knowledge
• Project Management experience
