Objective
The Process Safety Engineer is responsible for supporting audit requirements and supporting initiatives to develop and improve process safety and risk management programs. This includes monitoring, conducting, and reviewing process risk analyses, reviewing studies and analyses conducted, and providing compliance advice to business unit personnel.

Objective
The Process Safety Engineer is responsible for supporting audit requirements and supporting initiatives to develop and improve process safety and risk management programs. This includes monitoring, conducting, and reviewing process risk analyses, reviewing studies and analyses conducted, and providing compliance advice to business unit personnel.
Responsibilities:
- Risk assessment through methodologies (HAZOP, PHA, ETC.)
- Engineering review and construction of safe facilities.
- Efficient alarms. Developing Controls Analysis of Work Incidents.
- Effective control of the process by reviewing engineering and verifying its development, placement and safe control
- Proper installation and operation procedures.
- Management of the Verification before, during and after Herring of equipment (Pre-Start Safety Review, PSSR).
- Inspection, and support during the testing and maintenance of equipment.
- Staff training through courses, giving staff tools to carry out their activities safely.
- Relationship with suppliers and suppliers.
- Review and Management of Facility Approval with Insurers (FM Global)
- Management, review and supervision of the Engineering for the Plant's Fire Fighting System.
- Application of International and National Standards
What will you bring?
Education and Ratings:
- Mechanical Engineer, Chemical Engineer or related career (graduated)
- Intermediate English
Experience:
- Experience in Process Safety Management, Fire Protection, (understanding of DTIs, cause and effect diagrams). Process engineering (understanding of DTIs, design codes for tanks, pressure vessels, piping and pressure relief devices).
- Instrumentation experience (cause and effect diagrams)
Software:
- MS Officce
- Autocad
- Engineering Software
- Software PHA
Base or Workplace: Veracruz.
