You will also be part of a cohort, sharing this journey with fellow tech enthusiasts while working in a team setting to solve challenges in a learning environment. Engage in weekly tech talks featuring insights from GM Financial leaders and industry experts to hone your skills.

Responsibilities

Code:

• Discover key technologies and sharpen your coding skills through a comprehensive learning and development curriculum.
• Collaborate with experienced IT professionals and business partners on real-world projects.

On-board:

• Participate in a full-time hands-on tech learning program designed to sharpen your tech skills and jump start your career at GMF.
• Engage in two dynamic rotations, gaining exposure to various functions and domains within the IT organization.

Develop:

• Take part in weekly tech talks featuring intimate chats with GMF leaders and both internal and external tech experts.
• Pair up with a mentor and engage in sessions with a tech coach to develop both your technical skills and your “power skills” (i.e. communication and collaboration

Engage:

• Contribute, alongside tech teams, to the development and implementation of innovative technical solutions
• Participate in the code</start> cohort, sharing this incredible opportunity with others and embarking on this journey in a small group setting.

Qualifications

• Recent graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Early Career - Certified students from Software Development Bootcamps are also welcome to apply!
• English Proficiency (both Verbal and Written)
• Strong interest in technology and coding.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Experience using it during an internship, academic project or as a hobbyist
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
