A leading global player in the mobile technology sector is seeking a LATAM Gaming Marketing Manager to support its regional marketing efforts in the gaming and esports space. This position is part of a strategic initiative to strengthen the brand's presence and community engagement within the Latin American market.
About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-growing team focused on the intersection of mobile technology and gaming. The selected candidate will drive regional gaming strategies, foster esports partnerships, and lead community development efforts, helping position the brand as a key player in the gaming ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Esports Strategy & Partnerships
- Design and execute regional esports and gaming strategies.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with game publishers, tournament organizers, and esports teams.
- Strengthen brand presence in the competitive gaming space through strategic activations and collaborations.
Marketing & Community Engagement
- Lead the creation of engaging marketing content tailored to gaming audiences.
- Launch community-building initiatives, including user-generated content campaigns, digital contests, and reward-based programs.
- Align brand messaging with regional gaming trends to deepen community resonance and loyalty.
Community Platform Development
- Enhance engagement on a proprietary community platform through esports-related campaigns.
- Plan initiatives that drive user acquisition and retention, leveraging digital events and localized content.
- Work cross-functionally to integrate community insights into broader marketing efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in gaming, esports marketing, or digital community management.
- In-depth knowledge of the Latin American gaming landscape, particularly mobile gaming and esports trends.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Preferred Experience
- Background in a regional or global role within the gaming or mobile technology industry.
- Proven experience developing community engagement strategies or managing online platforms.
- Familiarity with influencer marketing, digital campaigns, and content creation for gaming audiences.
