MISSION OF THE POSITION
Drive the commercial strategy across Mexico and the U.S., ensuring revenue growth, profitability, and market expansion. This role leads the commercial team, builds strategic client relationships, and aligns execution with corporate goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and communicate the commercial strategy aligned with business goals and market opportunities.
- Set and manage sales targets across the commercial team.
- Understand the company's product portfolio and value proposition.
- Consolidate and report commercial performance across business units.
- Present business results to executive leadership.
- Lead U.S. market development alongside the Regional Sales Leader.
- Collaborate with support functions to enhance customer service.
- Oversee the implementation of commercial improvement initiatives.
- Align marketing efforts with commercial objectives.
- Coordinate planning activities based on sales forecasts.
- Identify and allocate resources to support commercial execution.
- Build and maintain strategic client relationships.
- Support the sales team in high-impact negotiations.
- Lead, coach, and develop the commercial team.
- Foster a collaborative, customer-focused culture.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Business-level English
- Experience in B2B channels (Retail, Pharmacies, Wholesalers, Agricultural) and B2C (own brands)
- 60% new business development (hunter), 40% client retention and growth (keeper)
