POSITION SUMMARY

Lifewave is looking to grow its engineering team in Guadalajara! This Full Stack Web Developer role is a key role in supporting IT Solutions and leading project development activities. You will work on the analysis, design, development, and maintenance of Lifewave's Software systems according to business needs and requirements. This role is undertaken by delivering a consistently high level of service in line with Lifewave policies and procedures.

This position is hybrid and requires a commute to Lifewave's office in Guadalajara from time to time.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with the development team to design, develop, and implement software solutions using C# .NET and MVC.
• Design and implement user interface components using React.js.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code that meets project requirements.
• Create and optimize SQL queries for database interaction and manipulation.
• Conduct unit and integration testing ensuring that code releases are of high quality with adequate error checking and testing.
• Implement security and data protection measures.
• Taking ownership of support, follow up and bring to resolution any outstanding issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Follow Lifewave processes and adhere to coding standards at all times.
• Research, evaluate and recommend new technologies or development tools.
• Train, when required, team members in product development and methodology.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must live within commuting distance to Guadalajara, Jalisco (MX)
• Be willing to go to the office for big corporate events
• 5+ years minimum commercial .NET application development experience
• Strong proficiency in C#, .NET framework, and React.js.
• Strong proven experience with front-end development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such Azure.
• Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment processes.
• Experience developing and integrating APIs.
• Expert knowledge of object-oriented programming.
• Solid working knowledge of database design, scripting, and optimisation with MS SQL Server.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks, e.g. XUnit
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Advanced English proficiency (C1+)
• Experience integrating with a content management system is an advantage.
