What will you do as a Full Stack Web Developer at Oracle Design?

• Work closely with engineers and design teams to define feature specifications and build internal tools and products.
• Complete medium to large features (each with many tasks) independently and without guidance.
• Proactively identify and inspire changes as needed for assigned codebase, product area, and/or systems
• Integrate functionality with external services/APIs, train and support end-users, and respond to feature requests and bug reports

Responsibilities

Skills, abilities and background

• BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
• 3+ years demonstrable experience in designing and building modern enterprise/large-scale applications.
• 2+ years of experience working with a relational database
• Strong client-side development experience using JavaScript/HTML/CSS, TypeScript and/or React, Angular frameworks or Oracle JET framework
• Understanding of i-frames, embedding content, DOM manipulation, and responsive design
• Hands-on experience with using observable variables and functions (eg. using Knockout)
• Proficiency with server-side languages such as Python, Java, or PHP
• Hands-on experience with database technology such as MySQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
• Keeping track of changes made to code with Git version control system.
• Good understanding of web servers (nginx, apache)
• Experience with Scrum and Agile methodology

The following skills and abilities would be a plus, but are not vital:

• Experience delivering large scale REST services or micro-services using Cloud architecture
• Experience with Oracle Visual Builder Studio and/or Oracle Analytics Cloud
• Experience with large scale streaming or batch processing, data mining, telemetry, and data analytics
• Linux experience
