Power BI Developer (Desktop and Service)

At Vege de México, we are looking for a Power BI Developer to join our team and support our growing business needs.

Requirements:

• Bilingual: English and Spanish
• Bachelor's degree (preferred)
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role
• Ideally located in or near Escobedo, or with no commuting issues
• Comfortable working in a high-volume call/data environment
• Experience developing end-to-end Power BI solutions: dataflows, semantic models, impactful reports, and dashboards with seamless refresh in the Service
• Advanced skills in DAX and Power Query (M)
• Strong SQL knowledge, including complex joins, CTEs, and window functions
• Strong data visualization skills and ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to write efficient, well-structured SQL queries for enterprise data warehouses
• Proficiency in crafting advanced DAX measures for KPIs, time intelligence, year-over-year comparisons, and scenario modeling
• Experience designing clean and efficient data models following best practices (naming conventions, descriptions, folder structures)
• Collaboration with business stakeholders (Finance, Operations, Sales, Warranty, Shipping) to transform complex questions into clear and compelling data stories
• Ability to run demos, collect feedback, and iterate quickly
• Documentation of Power BI standards, reusable DAX patterns, and style guides to help elevate analytics across the company
